For those of you who don’t know, we ran a contest this summer called #Quiykworldwide. We were inspired by all of you last spring who sent us pictures of you repping Quiyk all around the world, whether it was backpacking in New Zealand or exploring the Great Wall of China. It got us thinking about how cool it is that our product is 100% made in the USA, but is still able to reach all corners of the globe.
So we decided to challenge you all, our awesome fans and friendos to wear Quiyk wherever you went this summer, whether it was was to near to home or far across the world. The top three best photo submissions would win a free Quiyk Basics performance wear shirt and forever go down as legends in Quiyk lore.
So, here we have it. The winners of the first ever Quiyk contest, #Quiykworldwide!
1st Place - Jeff Brice aka Conway Cooperson - Unknown Cliff Wall Somewhere
This is definitely one of the most (if not the most) radical shot we received. Scaling cliff walls in a Quiyk Basic is what summer is all about!
2nd Place - Joanne Lam - Deserted Beach in Hong Kong
We’re suckers for jumping shots. Especially jumping shots at the beach. Especially especially jumping shots at the beach in Hong Kong. Here is Joanne Lam showing her mad ups and repping her Emerson College team uniform, on the other side of the world!
3rd Place - Nate Huntley - Santa’s Lap, The North Pole
Let’s be real. You can’t not grow a fu-man-chu mustache, go ALL THE WAY to the North Pole in your Quiyk Snitch Uniform, snap a pic in Santa’s Lap and not place in the top 3 of the #quiykworldwide contest. Mr. Huntley, we salute you.
Rob Snitch lookin’ good on a roof top in Virginia!
Isabel rocking Quiyk on top of a volcano in Nicaragua!
Matt showing off his Quiyk Team USA uniform at a Dodgers game in Los Angeles!
Thanks again to everyone who participated in the contest! We’ll be making sure to have more where that came from! And stay tuned for a full album of our favorite entries to be posted on facebook tomorrow.
